What it is

A whale-trade feed for two venues at once. The home tape carries every trade of $10,000 or more on Polymarket and Kalshi — $5,000 on Kalshi's quieter non-sports markets, with a carve-out that keeps Kalshi's 15-minute and hourly series off the tape unless the fill is priced under 90 cents. Sports and esports are kept out of the default view and given their own tab. The vendor gives a median delay of about 30 seconds from fill to feed and says 44,000-plus traders are ranked.

Two scores sit on top of the tape, and they answer different questions. The insider score is attached to a trade, runs 0 to 100, and blends timing against resolution, price impact, size at those odds and the wallet's past. The smart money score is attached to a wallet, is centred on 50 ("no demonstrated edge"), and is built from 90-day form, whole-record ROI and realised P&L, calibration, weekly consistency and whether size tracks hit rate. Volume is deliberately not an input, and the docs say why: it is trivially washable, and an earlier version of the score was farmed by backing heavy favourites. Wallets with fewer than ten decisive closed positions are marked provisional rather than ranked.

Around those: whale profiles with equity curves, a watchlist, an events view, a world map shading where flagged money is landing, price charts with whale fills overlaid, a "Vindicated" feed that lists only the flagged trades that won, a Deep Trade view of any wallet's positions, and a daily newspaper called The Prophet.

The second job is Orca: paper portfolios that copy chosen wallets or backtest them from a past start date, and — on Pro — live portfolios on Polymarket or Kalshi, with an auto-copy switch that places orders when a followed wallet trades. It is why the card also sits with trading clients. An iPhone app of the same name carries the portfolios, trading and push notifications; the analysis screens stay on the web.

Availability

The analytics are an account on a website: email and password, or Google or Apple sign-in. The terms set no geography and ask for nothing about residence; the privacy policy says the service is not for anyone under 18, stores data in the United States, and runs on Vercel and Supabase. There is no identity check, because there is nothing to deposit here.

Live trading inherits the venue's rules, and the two venues point in opposite directions. Kalshi is a US-regulated exchange that serves US persons; international Polymarket does not. The flag is true for the analytics, which are what the card is listed for, and a US reader can use Orca live against Kalshi only. Each live portfolio is tied to one venue for good.

Checked against the terms of service (last updated 10 April 2026), the privacy policy (last updated 26 September 2026) and the plans, venues and Orca docs on 30 September 2026.

Pricing

Free needs no card: the live feed, search, a watchlist, the leaderboard, basic whale profiles, short-range history, line charts, the Bitcoin forecast headline, one paper portfolio in Orca and a daily digest of the largest trades.

Pro is 9 USD a month or 59 USD a year — the home page prints the annual rate as 4.92 USD a month in the big type. It adds Orca live trading and auto-copy, custom real-time alert rules, full whale profiles, The Prophet, events, the map, Deep Trade, the remaining chart modes and CSV or JSON export. Through Apple's in-app purchase it is 8.99 USD a month or 59.99 USD a year in the US, and one subscription covers the app and the web.

Quant is 99 USD a month or 599 USD a year — the pricing page prints the annual rate as 49.92 USD a month in the big type. It is web only, and is the developer tier: the REST API, webhooks, full historical trade data and bulk exports. Pro does not include any API access, and a Pro key is rejected rather than answered with an empty result.

Cards go through Stripe and cancel from settings; USDC on Polygon is accepted for both paid tiers and buys a fixed period that does not renew on its own. The terms say refunds are handled case by case.

Orca advertises "zero Orca fees" on live trades. The venue's own fee still applies — the docs quote Kalshi's 7% × price × (1 − price) per contract and say Orca folds it into every estimate.

Prices read from the plans documentation, the home-page plan table and the App Store listing on 30 September 2026.

Markets & resolution

Nothing resolves here. Every market, fill and outcome belongs to Polymarket or Kalshi, and their own processes settle them. The category tabs — politics, crypto, economy, geopolitics, tech, culture, science, sports, esports — are the site's grouping over whatever the two venues list.

The venues are not covered to the same depth, and the docs say so. Polymarket trades are on-chain, which is what lets the site show a wallet address, rebuild a full history and reconstruct what a copier could actually have filled at. Kalshi trades arrive with a display name rather than an address, history is shallower, and wallet statistics that need a long record are thinner there. Kalshi trades also do not fire webhooks.

Copying across venues — a Polymarket wallet into a Kalshi portfolio — means matching one venue's market to the other's equivalent, which the docs treat as its own problem with its own page.

Integrations

The Quant API is bearer-authenticated with keys prefixed pwhk_, allows 10,000 requests a day with a burst of 100 a minute, and lives under /api/v1. GET /v1/trades filters by venue (polymarket, kalshi or all), by sports (excluded by default), and by trader-quality thresholds. Webhooks are signed and cover nine event types, among them high insider scores, watchlist trades, detected wallet clusters, watchlist consensus and a new Prophet edition. Bulk exports run to 100,000 rows a job in CSV, JSON or Parquet. The developer changelog was last updated on 25 September 2026, with a note that a ROI field had been computed over shares rather than dollars and would now read roughly 1.8 times higher for a typical wallet.

Alerts go to Telegram, through the vendor's shared bot, or to a Discord webhook — there is no email or SMS channel for them. Up to ten rules at once, each filterable by category, size, side, impact, insider band, probability range, time to expiry and new wallets only.

Auto-copy is written as a list of reasons to refuse an order: stale by more than 15 minutes, no matching market on your venue, slippage past your cap, a daily or position limit reached, below the venue minimum. Every decision is logged, including the refusals. The docs' own warning is the useful part: one trader tested against real portfolios went from +82% at their own prices to about flat once execution was priced at fills a copier could get, with more than half the copies unable to fill at all.

Limitations

It publishes predictions, not only records. The Prophet is a daily edition whose headline, in the vendor's words, "states the prediction as if it already happened", built from the previous day's whale activity. The site's own metadata describes "AI-powered predictions", the privacy policy says some features send public market data to Google and OpenAI models, and a Bitcoin forecast turns market odds into a price distribution. That is why ai_features is set to recommendations. The rest of the product is flow data; this part is a directional output, and it is on the paid tier.

The Kalshi key sits on the vendor's servers. It is an RSA private key with trade scope, encrypted at rest and used server-side to sign your orders. Revocable on Kalshi at any time, but until then it can place trades on your account.

The docs leave one thing unexplained. Live Polymarket orders are described as signed in your browser wallet, with every order prompting a signature — yet auto-copy is also offered on Polymarket portfolios and is described as placing orders on its own. The privacy policy mentions "trading API credentials you connect for Polymarket". How an unattended Polymarket copy gets signed is not spelled out; ask before relying on it.

The terms have not caught up with the product. They were last updated in April 2026, describe a whale-monitoring dashboard for Polymarket, and say nothing about Kalshi, live trading, auto-copy or credentials. Those are covered only by the privacy policy and the docs.

A score is not a finding. The site says so itself: insider and smart-money scores are statistical signals, and a high insider score says a trade is unusual given what was knowable. The Vindicated feed lists only flagged trades that won. It gives no count of the flagged trades that lost, so it is not a hit rate.

Advertising measurement. The privacy policy discloses OpenAI's measurement pixel on the site, which can send the page, device details, IP address and hashed contact details to OpenAI to match visits to ChatGPT ads.

The data may not be redistributed. The terms forbid bulk scraping and reselling or redistributing data from the service without permission, which is worth reading before building a product on the Quant API.

Alternatives

OrcaLayer is the closest single-venue equivalent — Polymarket only, with published farmer and bot filters, an MCP server and SSE feeds, and no order placement. Polyrama also covers Polymarket and Kalshi in one view and places orders. Polytrack at polytrack.cash scores large trades by severity and places none. For copying without the analytics, PolyCop and Kreo are Telegram copy-trading bots for Polymarket.

FAQ

Is Polywhaler's Orca the same thing as OrcaLayer?

No. Orca is Polywhaler's own paper- and live-trading app, at a subdomain of polywhaler.com and on the App Store under the developer name Polywhaler, and one Pro subscription covers both. OrcaLayer is an unrelated Polymarket wallet-analytics site with its own card here.

Does Polywhaler hold my keys?

For Polymarket, the docs say orders are built by Orca and signed in your own browser wallet, so the private key stays with you. For Kalshi, you paste an API key ID and its RSA private key, which Polywhaler encrypts at rest and uses on its own servers to sign orders. That key can trade your Kalshi account until you revoke it.

What is the insider score?

A 0-to-100 number attached to a single trade, blending timing against the market's resolution date, price impact, the conviction implied by size at those odds, and the wallet's history. Above 70 is labelled high. The vendor's own docs say it is not an accusation, and its terms call these scores algorithmic estimates rather than definitive assessments.

Can a US person use it?

Nothing in the terms restricts where you use the analytics. Live trading is a different question and depends on the venue behind it — Kalshi serves US persons, international Polymarket does not — so a US reader can read both feeds but can only trade through Orca on the Kalshi side.
