Adanos Polymarket Sentiment API
Polymarket's stock-price markets rolled up by ticker - activity, odds lean, liquidity.
Best for developers who trade or study Polymarket's stock up-or-down, price-target and earnings markets and want them grouped by ticker; not for politics, sports, other venues or raw rows under 299 USD a month.

What it is
The Polymarket feed of a market-sentiment API run by Adanos Software GmbH in Berlin. Most of what it sells is stock sentiment read from Reddit, X and financial news; Polymarket is one of five feeds sold under one key and one subscription, and the only one that reads a market.
What it does is narrow. Every hour it reads the Polymarket markets it can tie to
a stock or ETF ticker - "NVDA up or down on April 20?", close-above and hit-a-price ladders,
earnings questions - and files each one under that ticker, with a market type (up_down,
close_above, hit_target, earnings, other), an extracted strike where there is one
and, where it needs one to classify a price ladder, the stock's own price at the time of the read.
Everything else is rolled up from those rows:
- Per ticker: trades, distinct markets in the window, currently open markets, liquidity in USD,
unique traders, a 0-100 activity score Adanos calls the BuzzScore, a
trendthat compares the last three UTC days of flow with the three before (trades, volume, breadth and liquidity - not the stock price), and a daily series for the window you ask for. - Which way the odds lean: a -1 to +1 score and a bullish/bearish split of markets. The API docs call it outcome-aware - derived from each market's prices and outcomes, preferring the order-book midpoint and falling back to the YES/NO price; the product page's shorter gloss is the share of a ticker's markets with YES above 50 cents.
- Representative markets: each ticker's detail response carries a short list of the markets behind the numbers, with question, prices, liquidity, 24-hour volume, end date, status and a market-level score. This list is on every plan.
- Raw snapshots: every market row, every hour, with condition ID, event ID, slug, buy and sell trade counts and the fetch time. This one endpoint is Professional-only.
There are also rankings by sector and by country, a market-wide summary across all tracked tickers,
a compare call for up to ten tickers, and a "pulse" per ticker - a one-word reading (bullish,
bearish, mixed, event_driven, illiquid, unclear) with a confidence number, reason codes
and data-quality warnings such as average spread and the share of markets with no trades today. The
vendor's site prints a free, hourly Top 50 table from the same data.
The reader this is for trades or studies Polymarket's stock-linked markets and wants them grouped the way a stock trader thinks: everything about NVDA in one call, with strikes and, where recorded, the stock's price beside the odds. Adanos markets the same numbers to stock traders as a sentiment input, and its terms say the service is information, not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything.
Availability
The job here is reading, so the block answers for Adanos's own terms, not Polymarket's. The terms name no restricted country. They set a minimum age of 16 (18 to buy a paid plan), they are governed by German law, and the signup form asks for a name, an email and what you will use it for - no identity documents.
Reading is not trading. Polymarket's international venue, whose markets these are, does not take orders from US persons; see the Polymarket card for what it does allow and the Polymarket US card for the CFTC-regulated venue, which this feed does not read.
Free and Hobby are non-commercial. The terms spell out what that still allows: personal research, academic work, and a private bot - including unattended live trading - that trades only your own capital. Anything that sells signals or reports, advises on or manages other people's money, faces customers or redistributes the data needs Professional.
Pricing
One subscription covers all five Adanos feeds; there is no Polymarket-only price.
| Plan | Monthly | Annual | Requests | Query window | Per-market rows | Commercial |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | 0 | - | 250 a month, 100 a minute | 30 days | No | No |
| Hobby | 29 USD | 290 USD | 250,000 a month, 1,000 a minute | 90 days | No | No |
| Professional | 299 USD | 2,990 USD | 2,500,000 a month, 1,000 a minute | 365 days | Yes | Yes |
| Enterprise | on request | - | custom | custom | - | - |
The pricing page offers free access to non-profit and education users who apply. The Free plan needs no card. Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled, and cancelling drops the account back to Free at the end of the period.
What decides the plan for this card's reader is the per-market endpoint. Below Professional you get each ticker's totals and its short list of representative markets; the full hourly row for every market, which is what you would want to study a ladder of strikes over time, starts at 299 USD a month.
Markets & resolution
Only one venue, and only the stock-linked part of it. The feed reads Polymarket and no other venue - not Kalshi, and not Polymarket US. Within Polymarket it keeps only what it can tie to a ticker. On 7 October 2026 the service's public health endpoint reported 40 tickers tracked, and the public Top 50 table that morning showed about twenty with enough trading not to be marked "Thin" - SPY, Rocket Lab, a South Korea ETF, Coinbase and the large US technology names at the top. "35,000+ tracked tickers" on the pricing page is the reference list of symbols the API accepts, not the number with Polymarket markets.
History. The changelog dates the Polymarket service to 18 February 2026 and says on 3 September 2026 that its history now reaches back to 11 October 2025. The plan sets how far back a query may start, counted from today. The raw per-market endpoint shipped on 20 April 2026, and the changelog entry of 25 April says those rows remain capped at 90 days; no later entry changes it. For windows longer than the rows are kept, totals come from daily roll-ups and the representative-market list is limited to the snapshots still kept.
Resolution. Adanos resolves nothing. Each market resolves under Polymarket's own rules, and the
feed records only its state: tradable, open, resolved, expired or inactive. A row tells you
a market resolved, not which side won.
Integrations
REST with JSON responses and an X-API-Key header; there is no WebSocket and the data refreshes
hourly. Adanos publishes a Python SDK on PyPI as adanos and a TypeScript SDK, both covering the
Polymarket endpoints, plus adanos-cli for querying from a terminal. The OpenAPI document is public.
The same key reaches the Reddit, X and news feeds, whose ticker-level responses use the same shape,
so the Polymarket reading for a ticker can be put beside what social media and the press said about
it in the same window.
Limitations
- A stock-sentiment product first. The scores are built to answer "how do Polymarket traders lean on NVDA", not "is this contract mispriced". The sentiment score and the pulse's bullish/bearish word are summaries of market prices that the reader can see for themselves on Polymarket; they are not forecasts of the stock or of the contract.
- Hourly, and not a recorder of books. One snapshot an hour, with an average spread figure but no order book. Anyone pricing a fill or timing an entry needs Polymarket's own CLOB API or a recorded-book service.
- History can change. The terms say historical values may be revised when late data arrives or
methods change, and that the service is not an immutable point-in-time archive. The changelog
shows that happening: the trend definition, the meaning of
market_countand the inputs to the activity score have each changed since launch. A backtest on these numbers should store what it was served. - The per-market rows cost 299 USD a month. On Free and Hobby you see a ticker's totals and a handful of representative markets, not every market.
- No outcome field. A resolved market is marked resolved; which side paid is not in the row.
- Unique traders can be null. The docs say the count is left empty when the retained wallet-level trades do not fully cover the window you asked for.
- No redistribution. The terms forbid republishing the data as a feed or using it to build a substitute service, on every plan.
Alternatives
Every per-market number here starts as public Polymarket data. The Gamma API lists the same markets with their questions, prices, volume and liquidity, free and without a key, and the Polymarket Data API adds trades and price history; what you give up going direct is the ticker mapping, the strike and stock-price fields and the roll-ups. MarketLens records Polymarket order books to the tick, for anyone who needs the book rather than an hourly reading. For venue-wide volume and open interest rather than one corner of one venue, see Artemis.

Background
How this part of the sector works, rather than which product to pick.
- Where a dashboard gets its data, and what it loses when that moves — A venue API, an indexer or the chain itself. Which one a dashboard reads decides how far back its history goes and what vanishes when that source changes.
- Why two dashboards show different volume for the same market — Volume is several quantities under one name - contracts or dollars, one side or both, swaps or also mints and merges, and whose day. How to tell which.

FAQ
Does Adanos give per-market Polymarket data, or only a score for each stock?
Both, split by plan. Every plan gets per-ticker totals plus a short list of representative markets with each one's question, YES and NO price, liquidity, 24-hour volume and a market-level score. The full row for every market and every hourly snapshot is a separate endpoint sold only on the 299 USD Professional plan.
Which Polymarket markets does it cover?
Only markets Adanos can tie to a stock or ETF ticker - daily up-or-down, close-above, hit-a-price and earnings questions. Its own health endpoint reported 40 tickers tracked on 7 October 2026. Politics, sports, crypto and macro questions without a ticker are not in it.
How far back does the Polymarket history go?
The vendor's changelog says the Polymarket history reaches back to 11 October 2025. How much of it you can query depends on the plan - 30 days on Free, 90 on Hobby, 365 on Professional - and the raw per-market rows are capped at 90 days.
Can I use the free plan for my own trading bot?
Yes, if the bot trades only your own money. The terms count a private bot as non-commercial, including unattended live trading. Selling signals or reports, managing other people's money or putting the data in a product needs the Professional plan.
