# How to copy a Polymarket wallet's trades

Six products for mirroring an address you choose, ordered by what they hold that can move your money, and the fee, fill and geoblock limits none removes.

**Answer:** Choose the address yourself, rehearse the copy on paper first, then hand one product a funded wallet it may trade from. Every copy is a second order, sent after the leader's fill, usually as a taker, into a book that fill already moved. Each live copier charges its own fee on every fill on top of Polymarket's. None is more available than Polymarket, which bars US persons. Choose by what the product holds that can move your money.

## The approaches, in order

1. [Polywhaler](https://predictionmarkets.tools/tools/polywhaler.md) — Free paper portfolios auto-copy an address and price each copy at fills a copier could have got; live orders are placed and signed by you, not copied.
2. [Polycool](https://predictionmarkets.tools/tools/polycool.md) — Creates a self-custodial wallet through Privy that you can export; a budget split across leaders, 1% a fill falling to 0.5%, and a three-cent floor.
3. [Kreo](https://predictionmarkets.tools/tools/kreo.md) — An exportable Privy-secured Safe and five sizing modes; its own fee is up to 1.75¢ a share at 50¢ on top of Polymarket's, and Kalshi is named without a manual.
4. [PolyBot](https://predictionmarkets.tools/tools/polybot.md) — A Safe whose signer key PolyBot creates and can read; three copy subscriptions per wallet, fixed or multiplied size, 1% of each fill, Polymarket only.
5. [PolyCop](https://predictionmarkets.tools/tools/polycop.md) — A custodial wallet whose private key the company holds by its own terms; fixed or proportional sizing, sub-wallets per leader, a flat 0.5% of every fill.
6. [PolyTrack (polytrackhq.app)](https://predictionmarkets.tools/tools/polytrack-hq.md) — Auto mode asks you to paste a private key and Polymarket API credentials into a site with no terms; 19 USD a month plus 2% of a copy under 100 USD.

*Ordered editorially. Paid placement does not affect this order.*

## The short way

Start with the address, because nothing below chooses it for you and nothing here should. Read its
record first — [tracking a wallet's positions](https://predictionmarkets.tools/how-to/track-a-wallets-positions) covers the
products that do that without routing an order — and be clear what the record is: what one account
did on one venue over one window.

Then rehearse. [Polywhaler](https://predictionmarkets.tools/tools/polywhaler)'s Orca runs paper portfolios free with an account:
add the address, set a fixed amount or a percentage of each of its trades, and every trade it makes
is copied into simulated cash at real market prices. The useful part is that Orca prices each
portfolio twice — once at the prices the leader got and once at the prices a copier could actually
have filled at, rebuilt from the trades that printed on the market after the leader's fill. The
vendor's own page calls the second figure a ceiling rather than an estimate, because some of those
prints were maker fills and a copier crossing the spread pays slightly worse. Read the executable
line, and read it as the best case.

Only then pick a product that places real orders, open a **separate** wallet in it, and fund that
wallet with the copy budget and nothing else. Set the size per copy, a cap per market and in total,
a slippage limit, and what happens to a copy too small for Polymarket's minimum. Before the first
copy fires, add the product's fee to the venue's and work out what one copy at your size costs.

## What the options are

The six are ordered by **what the vendor's side holds that can move your money**, from nothing to
a key you brought from elsewhere. That is the question that differs most between them and the one
a fee table hides. [Where your key lives](https://predictionmarkets.tools/guides/where-your-key-lives) sets out the four kinds of
credential; here is what each product asks for.

**Polywhaler holds nothing on the Polymarket side, because it does not copy live.** Its auto-copy
page, read on 8 October 2026, says Orca cannot place real orders for you automatically yet: a live
portfolio, on the 9 USD Pro plan, trades only when you place an order, and on Polymarket that order
is signed in your own browser wallet. Automatic copying is a paper feature. On Kalshi, live orders
are signed on Polywhaler's servers with an API key you create there, which is revocable. It sits
first because it is the rehearsal, not the copier.

**[Polycool](https://predictionmarkets.tools/tools/polycool) and [Kreo](https://predictionmarkets.tools/tools/kreo) sit level: a wallet created through Privy
that you can export.** Polycool is a phone app (iOS, Android, Telegram) whose terms say the company
never has custody and cannot move funds without your authorisation. Copy trading takes any number
of leaders, each with a percentage of a copy budget, sized proportionally to the leader's portfolio
weight or as a fixed USDC amount, with a guard that skips the copy if the price has moved 1 to 10
cents above the leader's entry. Its fee runs from 1.00% down to 0.50% on lifetime volume, with a
three-cent floor per execution and different rates for trades placed in the iOS app. Kreo is a
Telegram bot and web app whose terms say it controls no private keys; the wallet is a Safe deployed
through Polymarket's infrastructure. It sizes five ways (fixed, the leader's exact amount, a
percentage, or a share of your portfolio or free balance with a 0.01 to 10 times multiplier),
defaults to 5% slippage, and can copy sells, merges and splits. Neither documents what its servers
are authorised to do with your wallet while a copy fires without you.

**[PolyBot](https://predictionmarkets.tools/tools/polybot) creates the key that signs for your wallet.** The wallet is a Safe on
Polygon and is yours on-chain, but PolyBot generates its signer and can send it to you on request,
so its systems hold it. Three copy subscriptions per wallet, a fixed amount from 1.10 USD or the
leader's size times 0.01 to 10, sells mirrored as a percentage, and 1% of every fill, which its own
FAQ says promotions and account overrides can change. It is not available to US persons in its own
words.

**[PolyCop](https://predictionmarkets.tools/tools/polycop) holds the key, and says so.** Its terms describe copy trading as
mirroring a selected wallet's trades "into the user's own custodial wallet", and say the company
holds the private key material, encrypted, with access limited to authorised systems and personnel.
Sizing is fixed or proportional, with caps per trade, per market, per side and in total, and a
sub-wallet option that gives each leader its own wallet. The fee is a flat 0.5% of every fill. The
key can be exported and imported into another wallet, which is the documented way out.

**[PolyTrack](https://predictionmarkets.tools/tools/polytrack-hq) asks for the most and publishes the least.** Its auto mode needs
your Polymarket API key, secret and passphrase plus a private key, held encrypted on its server, and
the site has no terms of service and no privacy policy. Copy trading is on Pro at 19 USD a month,
and a copied trade adds a platform fee of 2% under 100 USD, falling to 0.5% from 5,000 USD — read
from the app's code, because no fee page publishes it. The form itself advises a dedicated trading
wallet, which is the right advice for every product on this page.

## Where this breaks

**The key the copier holds can move more than the copies.** On Polymarket a wallet's private key
signs transfers and token approvals as well as orders, and nothing about the key narrows it to
trading. A product that holds it, or a signer for your Safe, holds whatever the wallet holds.
Polymarket's [session keys](https://predictionmarkets.tools/glossary/session-key) are the one documented credential in this sector
that trades and cannot withdraw; none of the six products above says it uses one, so ask before
assuming. The control that works regardless is the balance: a wallet that holds only the copy
budget, swept regularly, is a ceiling on what any of these can lose for you. Two-factor
authentication on PolyBot and Kreo guards withdrawals and key export, not who else can sign.

**A copy fails for reasons the leader never meets.** It fails when your wallet is short of
collateral, and on [Kairos](https://predictionmarkets.tools/tools/kairos) a failed copy for lack of balance pauses every
subscription you have, not only the one that failed. It fails when the size falls under Polymarket's
minimum order — 1 USD for a market order, 5 shares for a limit — which catches small proportional
copies; Kairos skips them, PolyCop lets you choose between skipping and rounding up. It fails when
the book is too thin to fill inside your slippage limit, and it fails when the copy is too old:
Kairos drops signals older than 30 seconds. On PolyCop, copy trading will not start under 50 USD in
the wallet. A copier that skips quietly leaves you holding some of the leader's positions and not
others, which is a different book from the one you set out to follow.

**Two fees on every fill, and the second is the product's.** Polymarket charges takers and never
makers, at 1.25¢ a share at 50¢ for most categories and 1.75¢ for crypto. A copy is almost always a
taker. Then the product adds its own: on Kreo at 50¢ on a crypto market the two together are about
3.5¢ a share, 7% of what the share cost, and Kreo's fee page does not mention Polymarket's. Floors
decide small copies — Polycool's three cents is 1.5% of a two-dollar copy, and Kreo's 0.3¢ floor is
30% of a share bought at 1¢. A limit copy that rests can avoid Polymarket's taker fee, but Kreo,
PolyBot and PolyTrack do not exempt limit orders from theirs. Kreo also pays the copied wallet 15%
of the fees its followers generate, which rewards a leader for trading often, not for the copies.
[What a trade actually costs](https://predictionmarkets.tools/guides/what-a-trade-actually-costs) converts the venue's half and the
[taker fee](https://predictionmarkets.tools/glossary/taker-fee) entry defines the unit.

**On a thin book the copy pays for the leader's fill.** The leader's order consumed the best prices;
yours arrives after it, as a taker, at whatever is left. That is [slippage](https://predictionmarkets.tools/glossary/slippage), and
the defaults are wider than they look: Kreo's is 5%, PolyBot's can be set to unlimited, and PolyCop's
unattended templates start market buys at 30%. A stop-loss on a copied position is a market order
too; PolyCop's own example is a 20% stop turning into a 25–30% loss. The executable view in Orca is
the only published attempt to price this per address, and its vendor calls the result an upper
bound.

**The address can change and the copy will follow it.** A copy is bound to an address, not to a
person or a style. The address can move into markets your filters exclude, change its size, start
splitting and merging conditional tokens, hand control to a bot, or go quiet while its owner trades
from a different one — one person can run several addresses, and nothing on-chain links them.
Proportional sizing amplifies the first two: a leader who doubles size doubles yours. Review what a
copy actually bought, not what you expected it to buy, and
[what wallet tracking shows](https://predictionmarkets.tools/guides/what-wallet-tracking-shows) covers what an address record can
and cannot tell you.

**A potential-insider flag is a classifier, not a finding.** Polywhaler scores single trades 0 to
100 on timing against resolution, price impact and size at those odds, and says itself that a high
score is not an accusation; PolyTrack sells "grouped insider wallets" with no method published. What
the record supports is that an address took a position ahead of a move. Who it belongs to, what
they knew and whether any rule applied to them are not in the data —
[insider-trading rules on event contracts](https://predictionmarkets.tools/guides/insider-trading-rules-on-event-contracts) sets
out the rules that do exist and [material non-public information](https://predictionmarkets.tools/glossary/material-non-public-information)
defines the term. And the property that earns the flag, timing, is the one thing a copy cannot
reproduce, because it arrives after the fill.

**The venue's geoblock is the copier's geoblock.** A product placing orders on Polymarket is never
more available than [Polymarket](https://predictionmarkets.tools/tools/polymarket), whose international venue bars US persons and
blocks the United Kingdom and most of western Europe as well. PolyBot excludes the United States in
its own words; Polycool, PolyCop and Kreo defer to the venue's restrictions and forbid getting around
them, and Polycool's terms name VPNs. A US reader cannot use any automatic copier on this page, and
neither venue that will open them an account — [Polymarket US](https://predictionmarkets.tools/tools/polymarket-us) and
[Kalshi](https://predictionmarkets.tools/tools/kalshi) — publishes a per-account ledger anyone could copy from.
[Why a venue is unavailable where you are](https://predictionmarkets.tools/guides/why-a-venue-is-unavailable-where-you-are) is the
longer version.

## If you outgrow this

If the bot's settings stop being enough, the next step is a terminal with copy rules beside
everything else. [Polyrama](https://predictionmarkets.tools/tools/polyrama) mirrors a wallet you star with per-wallet caps, size
scaling, a fade mode and a paper-only mode, charges nothing published, and never asks for a private
key: it stores the order-book API credentials Polymarket issues, which can place orders and are
not the wallet's key. Its live side is Polymarket only; Kalshi is read-only. [Kairos](https://predictionmarkets.tools/tools/kairos)
mirrors Polymarket and Predict.fun trades with a percentage or fixed-dollar allocation, charges a
platform fee on every taker fill and nothing to makers, and signs by default with a managed key its
docs call the custodial lane.

If what you want is the key in your own process and the venue's fee as the only fee, you are
writing the copier: watch the address, decide the size, and send the order yourself.
[Placing an order from code](https://predictionmarkets.tools/how-to/place-an-order-from-code) covers the clients, the credential and
the wallet approvals. [poly-maker](https://predictionmarkets.tools/tools/poly-maker) is not a copier, but it shows what a bot you
run yourself has to carry that the products above carry for you: per-market and total exposure
caps, a daily-loss kill switch, a journal of every order, and Polymarket's exchange heartbeat, which
cancels resting orders if the process dies. Read [what a bot cannot fix](https://predictionmarkets.tools/guides/what-a-bot-cannot-fix)
before the first funded run; the [copy-trading collection](https://predictionmarkets.tools/collections/copy-trading) lists every
card that copies onto your own account.

## FAQ

### Do I need the wallet owner's permission to copy their trades?

No. A Polymarket fill settles on Polygon as a public transaction, so any product can watch an address and place matching orders on your own account. The owner is not told and has no say. What you set up is an instruction to buy whatever that address buys, after it has bought it, and the choice of address is yours alone.

### Who holds my key while a copy runs?

Something on the vendor's side, on every product that copies while you are offline, because a copy at 3am has to be signed by something other than you. PolyCop's terms say the company holds the private key; PolyBot creates the signer for your Safe; PolyTrack asks you to paste a private key. Fund a separate wallet with only the copy budget.

### Can I copy a wallet onto Kalshi, or from the United States?

Not automatically with any product on this page. Kalshi publishes no per-account ledger, so there is no wallet there to watch, and Polywhaler's Orca, the one product here with a live Kalshi side, places only orders you enter yourself. Every automatic copier here routes to international Polymarket, which does not serve US persons.

### Why did my copy fill at a worse price than the leader's, or not at all?

Because it is a separate order sent after the leader's fill moved the book. If the price passed your slippage cap, the copy was skipped; if the size fell under Polymarket's 1 USD market-order minimum, it was skipped or rounded up depending on the product; if the wallet lacked balance, it failed, and on Kairos that pauses every subscription you have.
