# What to use instead of Fireplace

Trading on Fireplace ended on 15 August 2026 and the app goes offline after 30 September. What covers the terminal, the wallet feeds and the API.

A professional terminal that sat on top of other people's venues — one workspace for Polymarket and Kalshi markets, positions, news and wallet flow, with a wallet it held for you and a data API it sold separately.

## Replacements

*Ordered by how much of the original’s job each one covers, closest first. Paid placement does not affect this order.*

1. [Polyrama](https://predictionmarkets.tools/tools/polyrama.md) — The same two venues in one terminal, with wallet analytics and a token-authenticated REST API, free to start and open to US readers.
2. [Synthesis](https://predictionmarkets.tools/tools/synthesis.md) — A browser desk over Polymarket with Kalshi alongside, copytrading and one shared portfolio. Its terms bar the US, the UK and eight more places.
3. [Polycool](https://predictionmarkets.tools/tools/polycool.md) — If you traded from a phone. Non-custodial iOS, Android and Telegram client for Polymarket, charging 1 percent to 0.5 percent per fill of its own.
4. [Polysights](https://predictionmarkets.tools/tools/polysights.md) — The wallet half on its own — a live market table, per-wallet P&L and a wallet-flagging screen, free and with no account to migrate.
5. [PMXT](https://predictionmarkets.tools/tools/pmxt.md) — The "trade via API" exit. An MIT-licensed client over fifteen venues with a hosted API and a self-hosted mode, so the routing layer is yours.
6. [polymarket-client](https://predictionmarkets.tools/tools/polymarket-client.md) — Polymarket's own Python SDK — data, order signing and streams with no intermediary holding a wallet on your behalf.

## The product

Fireplace was not a venue. It was a terminal over other people's venues, operated by Enclave HK
Limited, whose terms of use — last modified 10 November 2025 and read on 21 September 2026 —
describe a platform that lets you "discover, aggregate, and execute trades across regulated
third-party prediction markets platforms", naming Kalshi and Polymarket. The same document is
blunt about what that means: Enclave "does not create, host, or operate prediction markets
directly", does not execute, clear or settle anything, and does not pay out market outcomes. Every
trade you placed was executed with the venue underneath.

What you got for that was one screen instead of four. The navigation across the app listed
Discover, Markets, Workspace, Portfolio, Wallets, News, Rewards, Watchlist, Disputes and
Developer — a position blotter across both venues, a resolution-dispute view, and a news feed
matched to the markets a headline moves.

The second business was data. The developer page, read on 21 September 2026, sells a REST and
WebSocket API in packs: market-matched news with significance scoring at $300 a month,
alternative-data feeds at $300 a month — a Ukraine–Russia control map, a Strait of Hormuz vessel
tracker, VIP air-traffic tracking — and wallet tracking across a claimed 12,000-plus addresses at
$100 a month, with 10 percent off two packs and a three-day trial. That is a different product
from the terminal, and it is the part with no replacement here at all.

**How it ended.** On 10 August 2026 at 11:03 UTC the company's verified account posted: "We're
shutting down Fireplace… The site stays open until the end of September so you can close
positions, withdraw funds, and export your account. Please do it before September 30, 23:59 UTC."
The wind-down page carries the other date: trading on Fireplace ended on 15 August 2026. No reason
is given on either, and none has been given since. Press reports put the public launch at 27
January 2026 and a $1.5 million pre-seed in February — those are secondary sources, and nothing
the company publishes carries either date.

This page records 15 August 2026 as the end, because that is the day it stopped being a place you
could trade. The 30 September deadline is not the closure; it is the window you are standing in.

## What to use instead

The shortest path is the one the wind-down page prints itself: your positions are Polymarket
positions and they can be moved to a [Polymarket](https://predictionmarkets.tools/tools/polymarket) address in one step. If the
only thing you wanted from Fireplace was somewhere to click, you do not need a replacement — you
need the venue you were already trading on. Everything below is for the parts of Fireplace that
were not the venue.

**If what you had was two venues in one blotter**, [Polyrama](https://predictionmarkets.tools/tools/polyrama) is the closest
thing in the catalogue: Polymarket and Kalshi in one terminal, with wallet P&L, alerts, a
strategy DSL, a token-authenticated REST API and an MCP server, on a free tier and with no
identity check to look around. [Synthesis](https://predictionmarkets.tools/tools/synthesis) is the same shape as a browser desk
with copytrading and a shared portfolio — read its terms first, because they bar trading from the
United States, the United Kingdom and eight other places, which Fireplace's terms did not do by
name.

**If what you had was the phone**, [Polycool](https://predictionmarkets.tools/tools/polycool) is a non-custodial iOS, Android and
Telegram client for Polymarket with copy trading and parlays. It charges between 1 percent and 0.5
percent per fill on top of the venue, which is a fee Fireplace did not present that way, and it
does not cover Kalshi.

**If what you had was the whale feed**, that separates cleanly from trading.
[Polysights](https://predictionmarkets.tools/tools/polysights) gives you a live market table, per-wallet P&L and a wallet-flagging
screen for Polymarket, free, with nothing to migrate. It is Polymarket-only and its terminal sits
behind an access code, so treat it as the tracking half and not the desk.

**If you were on the API**, take the exit the wind-down page calls "trade via API" seriously and
own the layer this time. [PMXT](https://predictionmarkets.tools/tools/pmxt) is MIT-licensed, covers fifteen venues behind one
interface in Python and TypeScript, and runs hosted or self-hosted — so the day its hosted
service ends, your code keeps working. [polymarket-client](https://predictionmarkets.tools/tools/polymarket-client) is narrower
and more direct: Polymarket's own Python SDK, from market data through order signing, with nobody
in the middle at all.

**If you are in the United States**, note that Synthesis and Polycool are barred to you by their
own terms, Polyrama is not, and the venue side of the question is
[Kalshi](https://predictionmarkets.tools/tools/kalshi) or [Polymarket US](https://predictionmarkets.tools/tools/polymarket-us) rather than the Polygon
Polymarket the migration button points at.

## What you give up

**The news and alternative-data layer, entirely.** Nothing in this catalogue matches headlines to
the specific markets they move, scores them for significance, or tracks vessels through the Strait
of Hormuz and wires the result to a market. [Adjacent](https://predictionmarkets.tools/tools/adjacent) sells indices and
reference rates and [Artemis](https://predictionmarkets.tools/tools/artemis-prediction-markets) publishes volume and open
interest with a methodology, but neither is a signal feed and neither pretends to be. If that
$300-a-month pack was why you were there, the honest answer is that you are not replacing it here.

**Two venues in one position line.** Polyrama and Synthesis both put Polymarket and Kalshi on one
screen, but a dollar position on a designated contract market and a USDC position on Polygon do
not net against each other in any of them, and they did not on Fireplace either. What you lose is
narrower and more annoying: one login, one watchlist, one place where a resolution dispute showed
up.

**A wallet somebody else kept working.** Fireplace provided the wallet, signed the transfers and
carried the key. Three of the six picks hand that job back to you — a Polygon address you fund,
gas you manage, and a key whose loss is the loss of the balance, with no support address that can
help. That is more control and strictly more work, and it is the change most likely to cost
somebody money in the week after 30 September.

**Somebody to ask.** The wind-down page says plainly that support cannot help once the app is
offline. Polysights, Polyrama and PMXT are small products with no contractual duty to you either,
but at least they are still answering. Anything you wanted to query about a Fireplace fill, a fee
or an export has to be queried this month.

## Migration notes

**The deadline is 30 September 2026 at 23:59 UTC, and it is the whole of the notice.** Trading
already ended on 15 August. If you have not opened the app since the announcement, the thing to do
first is open it and read the balance, not plan.

**Cancel resting orders before you migrate.** The wind-down page's own second step says so: a
resting limit order locks up cash and shares, so the migration cannot move them, and a stale order
is a fill you did not want after you have left.

**Copy address, not Deposit address.** This is the step where money is actually lost. The page
asks for the address from Polymarket's profile "Copy address" — the wallet that holds your
positions and balance — and warns explicitly against the deposit address. The transfer moves every
open position and the entire cash balance in one transaction, it is on-chain, and it cannot be
undone. Paste it, then read it back character by character before you press the button.

**Export first, migrate second.** The announcement lists exporting your account alongside
withdrawing, and it is the only one of the three that is irrecoverable afterwards. A fill history
you did not download on 29 September is a tax question you cannot answer in March, and neither the
venue nor a new terminal has Fireplace's record of what you paid it.

**Revoke and forget the API keys.** If you were on the paid feed, the keys were scoped, rotatable
and issued against a dashboard that is going away. Take the subscription off your card yourself
rather than assuming the shutdown does it, and cut the API host out of any running process
before it starts failing silently against a dead endpoint.

**If you held anything on the Kalshi side, ask now.** The published route covers Polymarket only.
Kalshi is a regulated exchange where the account is in your own name, so in principle nothing
there travels with Fireplace — but "in principle" is not a statement anybody has made in writing,
and the only person who can make it is a support agent who stops answering after the 30th.

## FAQ

### How long do I have to get my money out?

Until 30 September 2026 at 23:59 UTC. That deadline comes from Fireplace's own announcement on 10 August 2026, and the wind-down page repeats it. After that the app is not reachable and support is not answering, by its own statement.

### Do I have to sell my positions before the deadline?

No. The wind-down page states that funds and positions stay yours and that nothing needs to be sold or withdrawn, and offers a one-step migration that moves every open position and the whole cash balance to a Polymarket address you give it. Selling into a market you do not have to sell into is a cost you choose.

### What happens to positions I held on Kalshi through Fireplace?

We could not establish this. The published closure route names only Polymarket, and the migration step asks for a Polymarket wallet address. Kalshi is a separate account in your own name, so a position opened there is not Fireplace's to move — but nothing Fireplace published says so, and the only way to settle it is to ask support before the deadline.

### Was Fireplace itself holding my funds?

Its terms of use say you use a wallet provided by Enclave HK Limited to fund transactions on the external platforms, and the wind-down page says Fireplace signs the migration transfer while your private key never leaves it. So the key was on their side of the line, which is why the deadline is a real deadline rather than an inconvenience.
